  • interviewer reminds me of christopher walken

  • @ga2lic Thanks bro, that is definitely a compliment because Christopher Walken is cool!

  • can anyone enlighten me on what pickups he says he uses right at the end?

it sounds like he says something like Lou Uppard pickup, around 11:55 mins in.

  • @paddingtonfrisk It is Lollar pickups, the guy's name is Jason Lollar, Google Lollar pickups... It is one of many companies that makes pickups! Very hard to make up your mind when you have so much to choose from!

  • Ola amigo, I don't know the answer to your question, you must ask Phil directly, he is very cool so I trust he will answer your question... Happy New Year 2011!

  • What brand makes good guitars at 300 dollars that he mentions?

  • @paddingtonfrisk

he says "low output" pickups, not Lollar.

  • Robert Plant and Alison Krauss

  • Wish the music on Triumph's "Edge of Excess" album was better because Phil's riffs rivaled Rik Emmett's. He is just as good a guitarist, which is saying something!

  • @sebsoriano19 I think Phil is saying that he took a record he mixed to the person who worked on the Plant/Krauss record...

  • when does he talk about the tonemaster?

  • wow i didnt know about the pickup thing, now i feel like getting rid of my neck pickup since i dont use it

  • my defenition for music = PHIL X
