This is a scene from Wall Street I directed for a class exercise at SVA. It was mainly a directing assignment which is why you can see some lights in the background. The girl is playing Charlie Sheen's part and the guy is playing Martin Sheen's part, so just pretend that the girl is younger (and not a girl) and the guy is much older.

  • The directing (and lighting) is wonderful. For a moment I thought it was a scene from a real movie. What type of camera did you use if you don't mind me asking?

  • Thanks man. I believe it was the Panasonic DVX 100A? or maybe the 100B? Not sure, it was a few years ago.

  • He looks far too young to be her father. There can't be more than three years between them...

  • Yea I mentioned that in the info part up there; these actors were given to me, I didn't pick them, although I'm happy with what they did with it.

  • @PaulLittle

My bad, you're right; can't even remember commenting on this either! Anyway, good job pal.

  • Yea that comment was from a while ago actually. Thanks, though.

  • Brilliant!

  • wow realy good job this is like a real movie realy well done your destined for great things :)

  • Great job !!! but I thought Bud Fox was a guy. Excellent job of production.

  • @JimmyVolmer I agree. I love that saying "There's no Nobility in Povety anymore" but she says it more as reciting than a meaningful statement.

  • Watching this made me realize how difficult film acting is. A large amount seems to come from the camera angles and such. It's a good scene and I think all of you did a great job. But none of the actors look believable. Maybe some more facial expressions, normal eye movement and breathing. I dunno.
