Tu devrais apprendre le français. Tu comprendrais alors la joie de vivre et l'esprit "nationaliste" qui anime les Québecois et inquiète tant d'anglophones.
Translation> I think you should learn french. Then, you might understand the joy of living and "nationalist" spirit which animates all Québécois and worries so many anglophones.

If Michel had really wanted to crack the international market, he would have moved to Toronto or NYC and stopped singing nationalist French songs. His ambitions held him mainly to Quebec and that's fine, but let's just not pretend that he really had his eye on being a global star, unfortunately.
