  • i wont really try to say anything negative about mccain being a pow. he served this country and i am thankful for that. a lot of you guys should be too. seriously, a lot of you guys should check yourselves when it comes to him being a pow.

now with that being said, i do believe he uses it too much and should really talk about the issues that is facing this country right now. this country, thanks to bush, has been heading down the dumps for the past 8 years and mccain wants the same? f that!

  • Sad how you've fallen, Brokaw. BTW, retirement is supposed to mean we aren't supposed to be having to see you anymore. Go away already.

  • Well he is not a hero. cause if he is he should join the infantry and do hand to hand combat with Vietcong ( Rambo style) not sit on the jet and shot at the civilians cowardly.

He was shot down and captured because he was suck, and the only way keep him alive after 5 years in prison was kissing VC asses.

  • And being black is the new elitist.

  • Or-

Since when is being shot down by the enemy, then making propaganda videos for them, qualify you as a "hero"?

I thought hero's were the people who WON wars.

  • So McCain is a hero because he got caught by the Vietcong? I know shit happens, but seriously the guy didn't exactly kick ass. A real hero wouldn't get caught.

  • Yeah. Since when is being shot down and getting caught by the enemy a qualification for being president? Frankly, I wouldn't trust the mental status of someone who was locked up for 5 years.

  • Does anyone realize that John McCain was the senator who effectively ended America's search for POWs and MIAs? There are many former POWs and families of MIA soldiers that are still very upset about that. I have not heard that mentioned ONCE this entire election season!
