Vodka Collins are Hiroshi Oguchi (drums) Alan Merrill (lead vocals & lead guitar) Monsieur Kamayatsu (rhythm guitar) Mabo Kabe (bass). They started as a glam rock band in late 1971 and released new more pop, rock and blues based recordings recordings until 2004, when Mr. Oguchi's health began to deteriorate, and he passed away in January 2009 of cancer.
The other members of the band are involved in new projects now. Monsieur is recording solo and with his band Sans Filtre, Alan Merrill is recording solo albums, and Masayoshi Kabe is working with his popular ZZK band.
