Stein's movie is dishonest about science and immoral about history. ID isn't science; it's caveman superstition not subject to testing or evidence. Evolution is demonstrable and not random chance. It has nothing to do with the Big Bang. The immoral part is blaming Darwin for Hitler. Hitler was a religious nutjob motivated by 1,900 years of Christian anti-semitism. He rejected Darwin, believing the Aryan race was born pure and separate. He practised UNnatural selection, i.e. biblical genocide.

Well, to be honest I'm not: 'with you, Ben', but, and please stay with me here, I watched the trailer for Expelled and know of Ben by his 'rep' and I say "Do It!"

He's intelligent, and he does seem to be a person of integrity. While I might not vote for him per se, (I am more of a 'leftist libertarian'); I wholly endorse his running!

His running will bring up issues that need to be discussed.

Oh dear, CurtusLove. You really have fallen for the cheap tricks Stein is pulling off. The Dawkins interview was a bad trick. He told Dawkins that it was a neutral interview, then quote mined the "signature" part and claimed Dawkins is hiding proof of ID. And the Hitler thing? that's just the epitomy of cheap shot. It's like saying the theory of gravity is why people jump off buildings.

Law has everything to do with human rights, constitutional rights and academic freedom. What better experience could there be to challenge the subject matter of that film. It's not trying to prove anything other than the obvious that current rules of science are being applied to foreclose one of the only two possible answers to the origin of life. What fair minded, intelligent person would not want to challenge that? Unless of course they have an ulterior agenda.
