Myself playing Purina hall of fame by Propagandhi. This is the last track off of Todays Empires Tomorrows Ashes.

Gibson Les Paul Special, with a mesa v-twin direct..

Obviously the solo is played on a 24 fret guitar, i never bothered learning it the octave down

  • two things. firstly why does anything even mildly related to propagandhi end in some discussion on animal rights or some linked subject.. secondly.. you pussied out on the solo man. what's the point in even posting the video...?

  • i can play it.. i just need a 24 fret guitar to do it. its hard enough as it is ha

  • People can argue forever about what nature "designed" us to do. The fact is in the present state of the world, institutions have been SET UP to breed and kill animals for profit. Another fact is we as humans have the ability to survive without supporting this type of business. Why is it so crazy to say that veganism is the best way? Our minds, the environment, and other living things are benefiting substantially from choosing veganism.

  • Ok Mr. Darwin. I can see your superior "advanced -problem-solving-skills" are held higher than what is right and wrong. Just because you have power or an advantage over something does not give you the right to abuse your power. It gives you the responsibility to choose what the creature deserves. If you choose to kill and eat it, than you are no worse than any government figure who takes advantage of their power by taking it out on you, me, or anybody.

  • Very well put.

  • Pretty good man I figured out an easier way to play some of it though, and his guitar has 24 frets and the solo is all the way up there on the high E.

  • hey, thanks a lot for the comment..

I know easier ways of playing it also, but the way I played it on the video is 99% how he plays it live... that solo is nuts though, id like to figure it out an octave down

  • Great job man!

  • @withheld just play it an octave lower... not that hard. Actually Chris does that! He's only got a 22 fret guitar too now

  • Fully, brah!

  • where did you get the tab?

  • can you play the solo an octave lower? Watching somebody play it would really help me nail this song.

    awesome videos!

  • Better luck next time thrasher!!!

  • kinda?

  • I know it's difficult to have debates in this format, so anyone out there who still feels that it is either healthy, ethically sound, or good/natural for the planet for humans to consume animal products shoud consult the following to see arguments that are either yet to be disproven by philosophers and scientific research that has yet to be discredited despite many attempts:

The China Study by T. Colin Campbell

    Animal Liberation by Peter Singer

The Case for Animal Rights by Tom Regan

    GO VEGAN!

  • Wow, god forbid that one person would like to eat meat and another person wouldn't

Seriously, having different opinions, as if you're some kind of an individual. Now shut up and smile for The Leader.

Nice guitar playing, was watching some of your other videos. Keep it up.

  • A. 24 fret guitar.

    B. the point to posting the video? the rest of the song is just about as hard as the solo.
