where did you buy the headboard that was already shaped?

The foam and material are pretty straght forward. The major part of this project would be cutting the shape into the wood! You had someone do the cutting for you, I would not know who to contact or how much to pay them. Unless you assumed others would just make rectangle headboards. Your tips will be helpful so thank you...
