22-01-2012 Orca and Humpback

Tour at 1300 Well....the third day in a row now of Orca and Humpbacks, lets hope this never ends. Today we got to see two Humpback Whales, one that was having a snooze and the other which was feeding showing us his/her belly, pectoral fins and on many occasion its tail as it went for a deep dive. There were two families of Orca that we saw in the area too however, one family wasn't seen until near the end of the tour and they were very far away. The family we spent most of our time with were coming close and at one point you could see them travelling in a circle to maybe herd the fish into a more concentrated shoal for easier feeding. Another incredible tour just 5 mins sail out of Hafnarfjörður harbour.
