Searching for Gothic Edinburgh

I've started my search for Gothic culture in Edinburgh. It'll be trickier than in London, as Edinburgh's a much smaller place. But I'm optimistic, as Edinburgh's fabulously diverse. I'll be starting with the University's EdGar Society, which I'm very excited about as a student of the University.

sadly the goth culture in edinburgh has been back washed with emos and scean kids and hardcore kids...but oh well but u can find a good handfull of metal heads and punks roaming around

@mattyhastie Yeah. I figured that out pretty quickly. Oh well! I've moved back to London to finish my nursing training here. I really miss Edinburgh though, and will probably move back in a few years!

Try Frankenstein's bar in the old church if you like your gothic cheesey.

Shame ye departed, and shame I only just found this. Most of the scene was alive in the 90's. nowadays theres a few clubs and pubs but mostly the natives here kept to themselves (we tended to congregate in obscure places) and the university crowd who tend to finance these things end up moving away, changing scene, gettin jobs etc. The musics still around, but...full list of clubs/pubs/locations of worth available if ye ever want it.
