my father drove an ridgid 8 wheeler foden sugar bulker for SANKEY SUGAR back in the 1970s..that was a 1964 model and he was in tears when the company replaced it with a new erf with a gardener engine in 1971. the foden was a flying machine although it made him part deaf in his left ear! it was much loved and envied by the other drivers and cherished by me and dad....god bless you big fella xx

Nice....
Top class sound & vision, loved to hear them in the 1960's & 70's.Back then a Gas Board 8 wheeler tipper passed my house on the A325 week day tea times loaded with coke heading south. Then the traffic was so light I could hear it from the A31 junction until it cleared the long climb out of my village, a good mile,a lot of gear changes up & down the box & beautiful music.Well done to those who preserve these machines so we can still enjoy them. Can you film from the cab please?
