Finally, a female artist who does not rely in looks and safe repetitive sounds to please the majority.
Punk, jazz, opera and pagan rituals, all meet in Diamanda Galas, love her!!!

Infantile rage from a big powerful voice...and she never loses the tune once. Listen more carefully next time. She is a breathtaking talent.

@tiggetty "this reduces my faith in humanity to a new low". Comments like that does the same for me.

I don't like it, nor do I dislike it. I'm glad it exists however. I prefer the original. I would like to hear what she sounds like without all the echo.
-
@tiggetty Yeah you reckon? Bet you like lady gag gag though. Maybe you should check out some of her other songs before you pass illinformed comments, shes a dynamic singer and not a piano player btw
-
@tiggetty - You haven't a clue. I've seen her live and her voice is incredible. Then again, I listen to opera and classical music and her voice is definitely for the more refined taste. If you don't like her, then just go listen to something you do like instead of trying to bring everyone else down to your miserable level. They don't say 'misery loves company for nothing.' Just go and find something that DOES make you smile.

@TheStoicFuror You obviously don't comprehend the meaning behind this woman. You also can't grasp the virtuosity of her technique. Do you think many people can sing like that without bleeding at the end? She can sing anything, in any way. SHE is an ARTIST ! So proud this woman is Greek :)
-
@tiggetty i agree, but she is sooriginal and passionate!!!!

@vivelavidarocka Different yes. Good no, it's better than good it's brilliant, that is one of the best female voices ever

It sounds like someone is slaughtering an animal slowly for 4 minutes. Why anyone would consider this something good to listen to is beyond my scope of comprehension. How this only has 26 dislikes is also beyond me. This sounds like a first year piano student mindlessly banging on the keys while an obviously tweaked out and drunk woman with mental issues grunts, groans, screams, and makes random noises. The fact that she has made money off of this reduces my faith in humanity to a new low.

@tiggetty don't judge an artist by a single song. If you knew what she stands for or the history behind her music, you'd understand.
And the only thing that reduces my faith in humanity are shallow comments based on lack of knowledge.
