I was a gunner on an M60A2.

I've heard that the missles were so expensive that you guys only got one or two shots in training. After that, it was all only conventional rounds. Is that true?

For the most part, the tanks are 1/16th scale. Many are kits sold by Tamiya but there has been a recent surge of kits coming from other companies. There are some guys who run with 1/24th.

Nope. We went to gunnery about 2 x a year,and would shoot at least 1 missle then,only because the range (Graffenwoher ) only had 1 area big enough for the missle to fly.

In our first year,we were part of an exercise during which I shot 4 missles in 8 days.

In my time there,I shot a total of 13 missles. All of those were practice missles,with no warhead.
