Phoenix - Bird of Fire

This is a video showing the legendary phoenix - the bird that could be reborn from flames.

A few days before Christmas there was an update on IW. I was very surprised when I saw someone come on Default with a giant red/orange bird as a pet!

Yes, there are Phoenixes on IW. You can put them in custom maps. We added them to lazyzim's map with an appearance rate set pretty low - about one per visit. Except there was four of them once, then none another... :/

This is for the people who have yet to see a Phoenix. This is what they look like. lazyzim and I have gotten anywhere from 89-140 cures off one. Be careful that it doesn't reset your cure count if you go after one!

@fast1817 Apparently Phoenixes drop Scythes. A friend of mine got a Scythe off one and gave it to me. I heard that they also drop Fenix Mask. I don't know where you find them normally, but there is a whole map filled with nothing but them in HuntingZone - which you can get from the IW forum. If you have a custom map, you can also add them to your critter list as they aren't bosses.

@fast1817 I have never had a Phoenix drop an item and I've killed at least a dozen. I'm starting to think that Phoenixes don't drop anything. >.> The Phoenix in this vid didn't drop anything.

ok i have that map but i dont know where it is (i saved it in the IW folder) + yesturday there was like 5 phonixes in lava... O.o
