  • And by the inspiriation of Holy Spirit Bach wrote this fantastic coposition!!!!! Praise God for this great music

  • What amazes me about this first movement "Et incarnatus" is Bach's portrayal of being made man--dark, minor key with heavy stresses on lower neighbors of the harmonies. Compared to being one with the Father, being made into corruptible flesh in a condemned and corrupted world I guess WOULD be a very heavy and burdensome thing, not only because of the heavy weight of sin but because of the sadness of seeing God's creation oppressed by the deceitfulness of it--blind to the truth and helpless.
