@Valifarinian79 It wouldn`t made much sense if he was like Picard or Kirk when we first see them. Archer was supposed to be the first long travel explorer of Earth. There were no guildelines or directives for him to learn in his kind of mission.

Picard and Kirk had already history in being Captains.

This more graphic than Star Trek Legacy-Mission. It's too bad there's no part three to this. I'd love to see what it is that Capt. Archer and Commander Terrell are looking for.

They had it put on UPN, and shown at the same time as Stargate SG-1, seems to me they were either looking for a miracle, or an intended early death.
