@MrLongbranch303 I'm surprised you have such a wide variety of 7.62x39 surplus available in Canada, the only surplus currently available in the US is Bulgarian, and Yugo(If you can still find it). We used to have Chinese but that Clinton asshole, banned gun and ammo imports from China.

@istuddd it's a bitch to find, I haven't been able to find any here in Alberta.

Thanks for the information.... The ammo are really cheap - 2 cases of 1200 rounds for only $370, but the shipping fee are horrible - $130. unless you pick up, otherwise it doesn't make sense at all.

Where did you get 1120 rounds of 7.62x39 for only $180? That is really damn good. Seems the best deal so far I have seen is 1200 rounds for $249.

Hey, I got a few boxes of the steel jacketed 7.69X39 in my case too. They run just fine as far as I can tell. One thing I thought about is the fact that since it's steel, it may wear down the barrel faster than brass? I'm not sure, couldn't find any literature online about the steel cased ammo.

@111dogon555 Well all the Czech 7.62x39 ammo is steel jacket, most of it has copper washed bullets but that grey tip stuff has no copper wash on it because of a copper shortage .. I try not to shoot it in my non chrome lined barrel rifles ,, but shooting it through a chrome lined barrel should be fine ..
