The morning starts off by catching the AXS1 (L519), heading north down the Illinois River Sub, in Plainfield, IL., nearing the Leithton Sub, where it will make the sprint to CN's East Joliet Yard. A pair of EJ&E SD38-2's (instead of the usual one unit), 675 and 658, lead the way.
Now, on the Leithton Sub, EJ&E 675 and 658 are clear of the Illinois River Line, and headed south through Plainfield, IL. The pair of J's sound great, booking along in run 8.
The southbound M390 wasn't very far behind the L519, as it heads south through Joliet, IL., passing under I-55. A CN Dash 9 leads the way, followed by a BCOL C40-8M.
On the Matteson Sub, UP's westbound Michigan City coal empties slowly creep towards the yard. A trio of UP GE's are in charge.
Everytime I Seem To See The J Down The Illinois River Line They Are Barely Dragging Any More Than 7 Cars But On These Videos They Are Packed With At Least A Little More Than 25!
Awesome Video By The Way!!
