20 Meters of Termites in Borneo, Malaysia 2008

Taken at the Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre near Sandakan, Sabah, Malaysia on the island of Borneo. The termites were moving their brood from one location to another across the railing of this walkway. I would estimate that there was as least 20 meters (~60 feet) of termites on the move with, presumably, many more unseen. I have no idea how many termintes but 10's of thousands is a quick estimate. I also find fascinating the insect sounds in the background.
