Jimmy Laszlo has cheated death. After waking up under the crashing waves of the Santa Cruz surf, he soon learns his wife Amy is having an affair with his money-grubbing brother Phillip. Detective Valerie Kimble, Jimmy's sister, investigates two homicides on the beach and quickly suspects Jimmy's involvement. Valerie approaches Jimmy on the matter and he informs her of the attempted murder on his life. She advises Jimmy to lay low and and let her handle the situation but Jimmy flat-out takes matters into his own hands and soon discovers that his inheritance from his father has definitely proven to be ill- omend.
