Garrett demonstrates two very simple techniques for helping to wake up the eyes and face in the morning, and to assist in regulating the breathing at the same time.

Stare into your own eyes in a mirror for 2 minutes while breathing slowly. Say, "Ah," after inhaling completely, and then let all the air out in a relaxed manner. Keep breathing like this for the duration of the exercise.

Next, stare into your own eyes in a mirror while blinking fast and rhythmically. Notice if any changes occur in the rhythm of the blinking or your breathing.

Close your eyes and take a few moments to feel the effects the exercise had on you, and then move on.

Enjoy.
