@poikaudi The queen is the embodiment of the United Kingdom in British constitutional law. She does not rule the country, but she is the ultimate symbol of the nation. The "some person" is the one to whom you and your mates would have sworn your oaths and the one who you were fighting for.
-
@AmberLantern It would be rather tacky of her to sing to her own health.
-
God Save the Queen!

@51wins Mind you but think about if it was at soldiers funeral or any given patriotic event and for the national anthem you got to sing about a person. That's doesn't look patriotic. I'd rather sing a national anthem that glorifies my country and why me and my fellow mates are risking our lives for. Not for some person.

The Queen is patriotic.
-
I don't sing "Happy Birthday" at my own birthday.
I just stand there like the queen.
-
@fraizer57 Extremely proud.
-
Britain should get a new national anthem; should be more patriotic than just singing about the queen.
-
@fraizer57 *English. Go fuck yourself

@sedwarg, Do I neet permit from bunch of asshole British mother fuckers???? NEVER. Now U too may fuck off.
I love it how she doesn't sing. Bet she's thinking "That's right. SING for me bitches!"

I've heard of people who think she's snobbish for not singing the anthem. Cause, you know, nothing says modesty like singing a song about YOURSELF!!!!
