Well if people made it before people can make it again. I'm just workin hard to try to make myself one of those people who make it.

kinda like when someone says x player makes y skill/shot/pass/trap look easy. in reality, it is very difficult but because they have put in all the work on the training ground, they are able to do moves that are of higher difficulty than the average pro and they can do them more often. regardless of how well they do something, it still isn't "easy" to do, they just don't surprise people when they do it.

i also know it wouldn't have been easy for him, but i also know it wasn't easy for him to become one of the leagues best point guards and he did that. i think there is a misunderstanding between everyone's definition of easy right now. you are probably saying that easy means he could've just walked into a team and played pro, i am saying that had he put in all the work and training and playing, it wouldn't be surprising if he made it as a pro

there is no way of knowing how good anyone will be, all i'm doing is what every scout in the world does when they watch someone play. from what i've seen of Nash's abilities, and taking into account his athleticism, if he were to have played soccer instead of basketball when he was younger, he could've become a very good player. what is different between what i'm doing and what anyone who says the same thing about any 18 yr old brit playing in the npower 2?

and that automatically means that Nash could have easily been a footballer too? No it doesn't.

exactly, there's no way of knowing how good or bad he was so his statement that Nash could have easily been a pro footballer was naive and ridiculous. Your entire argument is based on what you believe could have been true. I am telling you that you cannot assume any person could become a pro footballer and I am right. You're now perpetuating the stereotype that Americans know little about football/ soccer.
