  • @mysrt4303 No but you will need a rear hicas eliminator and most likely bushings

  • @djtalya and is it hard to swap the tt rear end in a 2+2??

  • @mysrt4303 if your going for stock power the NA rear end should be ok but it has a bigger ratio, meaning your top speed is lower but the acceleration is better, the main difference is the axles they are noticeably smaller so for high power you will want a TT rear end. The s14 sr20 swap is a good choice too but don't think it will be that much cheaper, because in the end most engine swaps in general take a lot of money, if you want it done right.

  • @djtalya hhmm I think i'ma just get an s14 and drop an sr20det in it seems like a pretty expensive swap 300zx's lol but would it be bad to run an NA rear end with the tt swap?

  • @mysrt4303 Dont do it unless you plan on going all out , just a buy a twin turbo, just because you have the engine doesn't mean its good to go, your forgetting all the gaskets you will need to replace and bushings and also other small stuff. Not to mention unless you have a twin turbo donor car, you will be running the NA rear end, unless that is your intention. Realistically many people say a clean Stock twin turbo swap is about 7-8k includes parts and labor.

  • @djtalya holy shit thats way too much money lol, how much would it be swapping a complete bone stock vg30dett in just labor not including what was paid for the complete engine itself?? becasue i know a sight where i can get this engine for like$1900

  • @mysrt4303 around 17k ,every aspect of the engine along with drive-line was upgraded to reliably handle the additional HP, I wouldn't consider this build to be anywhere near average. There are some interesting custom details in it.

  • How much did this swap run you??

  • @thejfactors yeah the most complete on is the black one. The white one is getting gutted for drag. The other white one is getting a widebody kit and can race everywhere. The other one is overdone I know it but it is OK as long as I have other ones

  • @DVcustomZ lulz yeah i deleted my egr, carbon canister, aiv system, hicas, some coolant lines moved to NA power steering and all that fun stuff. less things to go wrong. less bleeding hands :)

I will say that the throttle body coolant lines are hilllllarrriousssss and nice job on your Z's they are very sexy, I'm not sure if i personally would go all out like on the white Z but it is very cleanly done. props.
