HEY HEY!! It's time to take another look at Reason. This time we'll be looking at Reason 4 and its awesome ReGroove device that comes built in. It's a great way for just getting your drums to sound more realistic, and get some real groove into them. DON'T FORGET TO SUBSCRIBE TO THE PAGE!! I got all types of videos coming in the future and it's only gona get better!! Don't forget to shoot me any questions you have as well, it might take me awhile to get to them b/c of my current living situation, but I will go back through the questions for some more episodes of Ask bboyspaz. Thanks again. Stay up!!

  • thanks for the videos man they're great! one quick question though... when I create the NNXT device a piano patch is preloaded in the player. I see you have the init patch(blank patch) when you create yours. I can't figure out how to empty the preloaded patch, I can only change it for another.

    Peace out!

  • it's in the preferences of Reason. under general or something like that. its just an option you can just check off or something.

  • hey, what video game is that from?

  • sonic the hedgehog - spring yard zone

    my favorite!

  • Where is that quantize in Reason 4... I simply cannot find it...!!!

  • its in the tools window. you can actually see it at the very begging of the video.

  • spaz my boi, goddamn u sound like slim shady...

that vid was tight, seriously... much blessings. ur a good pedagogue.

  • Great tutorial man, very Helpfull. Great job...

  • Thank you!

  • How does this compare to Stylus RMX? To be it seems very primitive and uneffective at converting entire grooves, like a straight pattern from the Redrum, or quantized midi notes.

  • how does this compare to the mpc groove function in ableton? do you really need to used reason's groove instead of ableton?

  • Don't take this the wrong way...I dig in my old games too, but I would have never thought to use this sample. I would have felt it was corny. But you freaked it, and had me bouncin to that shit...props to you bro.

  • good tutorial. and, the music is sampled from Sonic the Hedgehog. .3rd level in the original genesis game i believe. .hilarious!

  • one of THE best tuts on the regroove. simple, easy and straight to the point !
