Is this a 21 Pin decoder from bachmann fitted? And does it work with a hornby select?

Hello.
The loco does have a 21 pin plug, but it isn't DCC ready as standard. I fitted the sound chip and speaker. Not sure about the Hornby Select as I use Bachmann's Dynamis. It SHOULD, of course, work OK as they're all built to the NMRI standard.
