i guess, we in germany are just freaking alkoholics.. can't immagine my life without liq, lol..i mean for real.. if i had to wait till 21 to buy me some beer, i would hang myself.

@jan8919 Ah there are to many problems.. In Germany you can start drinking legally with 14 and our Country has not more problems with alcohol then every other country.

@NoirThing true but if you go into a bar in the us (in the most states) they wont sell alcohol to you if your parents go with you. In Germany you can go into a bar and order low alcohlic drinks if you parents take care for you. Also you can drink in public legally and selling alcohol is allowed in every super market, petrol station, bar, club, restaurant, or any other shop without special license.

In Argentina nobody enforces the drinking age, kids any age can buy alcohol without restrictions in fact most parents send their kids for beer and stuff to the grocery store and tell their kids to buy whatever they want while they are there, we would never even think about buying any kind of alcohol for ourselves.... the point is the more restrictions you have the more problems you will get.

@WishMonkeyscanskype yeah, but basically you need to be 16 then you can buy alcohol as much as you want here in germany haha, but on the other hand, even 14 year old kids or even younger get alcohol from the older bothers and sister or if they just look like 16 they also get it, so you can even see really young people here binge drinking....and then no wonder why girls get pregnant with 15/16 ;D

As a spaniard, I can't understad how USA forbids to drink alcohol until 21, but allows people younger than that to go to the war.
