A friend of mine played for me, this astonishing vinyl, probably 20 years ago, in his basement, in Illinois. I was a King Crimson fan, so this sort of thing appealed to me, but I had no idea what RIO or Zeuhl was, at the time. . . and I couldn't figure out what language the lyrics were in. Since then, I've found out, and learned about some other bands that came along later, inspired by these guys; (Sleepytime Gorilla Museum) . . . Funny that I stumble onto this recording decades later. :D
