@JoeSnyderwalk -- He and Hans work together a LOT (in fact, Steve was one of Hans' proteges IIRC), so they probably both learned to compose the same way. I wouldn't call it a rip-off just because it sounds similar.

I like Steve Jablonsky, however I must agree the Transformer soundtrack did seem generic.

"His style is so distinct" - there's a laugh. Maybe Steamboy is a strong score, but his Transformers music is such a blatant rip-off of Hans Zimmer's style it's not even funny.

I know! I went and bought the game and I heard the music and I was like, whoa that style sounds familiar so I looked it up and there you go, it's him. His style is so distinct =].
