@mackinass916 Right, if I was trying to count cards I'd be especially obvious at first I'd be concentrating and probably looking as if I was in the midst of taking the hugest number 2 ever! LOL

@AssembledTube right, that's what I learned to, & always assume the next card is 10 (since the decks have more tens than anything else e.g. jack, queen's and kings as well as 10's) Also, I learned that if the dealer is showing a 2 (you assume they have 12) and you have 12, you can either hit or stand, and whatever you choose to do, (hit or stand) consistantly do that when you have a 12 and dealer is showing 2 (assume 12)So, if you hit ALWAYS hit, if you stand ALWAYS stand. Just a tip from a pro

@LoChaKi thats kinda obvious... the idea is to suss out what cards are left in the deck, so any card that comes out gets counted

@bpmhopper Blackjack pays the player 3 to 2, the dealer only wins 1 to 1 if he gets blackjack. Also, the dealer MUST hit on 16 or under, players can stay, or sometimes surrender

Wait, what? Hi-Lo Counting system you should be raising you bet for any true count of +1.5 and over. Betting a standard spread you could very well be at your max bet by the time you hit a true of +10. You should not be waiting for a true count of +10 before you raise.

@bpmhopper From a website: The reason is a high card rich deck benefits the player is hard to explain but it is largely because a dealer will be forced to hit a stiff hand and you are not.
