Sojourners hosted a CNN live broadcast of leading Democratic presidential contenders Hillary Clinton, John Edwards, and Barack Obama on Monday, June 4, for A Presidential Forum on Faith, Values, and Poverty at Lisner Auditorium of The George Washington University.
It's utterly outrageous for these people in the incredibly left wing Democratic party to suggest that Jesus has anything to do with helping the poor. He said it was easier for a needle to stick into a camel than it was for a rich man to enter heaven. A poor man couldn't afford the bus ticket. Book of Jesus CEO Chapter 6, Verse 66.

None of us are really Christians anyway. We're just practicing on our way to being tru Christians. Until we complete all that God and Jesus have for us to do, we're just practicing Christianity.

I do have disagree with otakutalk though. This is not about who is an athiest and who is not. It has nothing to do with being as good person or not. It's not about Christians being bigots. And even if it is, it is usually the Christians on the right who are bigoted. "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone." Your sin is no greater or less than mine, so I nor anyone else have the right to tell someone not to call themselves Christian.

Everyone here misses the point: being Christian doesn't make you a good person, and being an atheist doesn't make you a bad person. I wish the atheists in congress and in the presidential run would announce it to the country, but people are too bigoted and simpleminded to vote for atheists for now. Too bad.

not all Republicans are Christians either. You can't say Democrats are not Christians. Thats an opinion.

don't use a word like "modicum" unless you can use the possesive form of "it"

Democrats do believe in God, and obviously you don't have the first clue what communism is.
