@XinBiDe They aren't abusing it when that was the main purpose of it (or atleast to my mind it is) I really haven't found a use for Compiz other then showing off.

You totally misread my comment, buddy. I'm annoyed by the amount that you abuse the cube for no reason.

great video love it could you please tell me the music played in this?

The problem with linux is that the average computer user cannot get anywhere near the level of fluid functionality that is seen in this video. Games running in wine are incredibly tricky and not because of wine, but because if you do not buy and piece together your hardware specifically because it works in linux and has drivers that are 100% tested for linux, you will get a mish-mash of functionality. ATI is the worst culprit.

COOL i too am relieved left 4 dead can run in ubuntu...(pant) cause i asked one for christmas
I always get annoyed when linux video makers feel the need to show the cube or whatever shape they have a billion times in their video for no reason.

@XinBiDe Windows User Anoyed :-P. Of course there is a reason for the video, the ability to run Left4Dead on Linux with compiz enabled, ie, in a way you have a 3D application running (emulated of course) on a 3D window manager (in this case Compiz).

Hi,
Do you had to make any additional tweaks? Do you installed it through POL's Steam? Does it required any patched Wine version? Thanks for answers.

* No tweaks
* Not used Steam. I only unzip the pirated version in a new prefix on the PlayOnLinux
* No patched wine version, but run faster with lastest version of wine repository.
* You're welcome.
