I have slept in hotel Ibis Czestochowa in 2003 during my way to the Tatra mountains from Bydgoszcz and I know the executive of this hotel. Is the road in the first part of your film S1 expressway Cieszyn-Bielsko? Your films are really interesting! :-)

No problem - basically, you need to record your voice while watching the clip on (say) Windows Media Player, and then export the recording as a WAV file. Then drop both the movie and the recording into the timeline on Movie Maker. Make sure you mute the video clip if you only want to hear commentary (rather than, e.g. traffic noise).

I will have a look at that. I want to do a documentary which will need a voice overlay. Thank you.

I think (although I'm not a HUGE expert) you might be able to do it with Audacity (do a Google search), which lets you record audio directly into your PC via, say, a microphone.

I have not yet learned how to do that!! I had an upgrade on my computer and the newer version of movie maker is much easier to use that the first one.
Scandinavia should be really nice. At the end of the day I did the film for me as it shows my peculiarites - sleeping in the car, visiting battlefields and listening to 1980s music - I accept that not everyone is interested in this!!

For those that like to complain about the poor quality of my films this is your chance to have some input.
My Sony Cybershot - used for all films here but one - has given up on me. I do not want to buy a video camera - just a compact camera which I can carry around in my pocket.
What camera should I buy and why?

Also, although you claim not to be a linguist, kudos to you for being able to speak (fluent?) Polish. I guess that you probably HAD to learn the language, yet I've met some of my fellow Brits abroad who, despite having lived in their chosen country for many years, have made little attempt at learning the local language beyond "holiday speak". At best, they revert to speaking English slowly and loudly to locals or, at worst, get annoyed when they find out they can't speak English at all.

I think if you cannot speak the language then you are missing out on so much! In all honesty I suppose I am a linguist although linguistics does not interest me. And today how can you watch the television - the Green Beret is on tonight in Polish - how would I understand without knowing the lingo? Thank you for your comments! Best wishes.
