A tabletop sized gasifier similar to the G3 design by "mrelevatorman". G3 means Gosselin Grateless Gasifier, so there is no grate. The the ash is removed from the gasifier by the vacuum that draws the woodgas out of the chamber.
In this run, I have insulated the burn chamber, added the completed cyclone separator (this part the swirl burner in my previous video) and upgraded the ejector venturi to 2" pipe.
The ambient temperature was only 7 degrees F, soI had some problems with the moisture in the compressed air freezing and some condensation from starting the unit cold. Despite the difficulties, the test went OK, as I was able to light the larger flare, verify that the cyclone was working to remove the ash, I was able to attempt measurement of the temperature profile in the burn chamber, and I experimented with tuyeres to see the effect of forcing air on the hot coals.
The temperature meter goes out of range at 2,000 F, and I was able to get the temperature over that at least once with very little air flow through the turyies.

@Hollywoods7 Better yet. Use kiln liner insulation. Will never break down. We use it!!
