I think it's precious for Yo-Yo Ma (and for us, fans of Morricone) to have been directed by Morricone himself. There are no mistakes, no misinterpretings. These pieces will remain in history. Thanks.

The 60's stuff is ******* fantastic! The later stuff is not so good. Not so focussed. Needs to go back to major over minor progresssions and some distinctive SOUNDS,vocals and intrument. Not just classical but classical with Les Paul,timpani and bass beats.Then we'll see the genius again.Yo-Yo Ma adds pizazaz to the original.I'm waiting for new italian clasissical.

Love it!
I just bought the CD, and I totally didn't think the Sergio Leone Suite: Ecstasy of Gold from The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly was my absolute favorite from this CD because of the style of play and uniqueness of the arrangement.
