Some song specifics: This is a Bill Withers song I'm most familiar with from that Notting Hill movie. Accordingly, I didn't really know the bridge bit very well (they don't play that part in the film), so it's a little different from the original in this version. Along those lines, I found B's guitar work on this one particularly impressive insofar as he'd never even played the song until I showed him an online tab a few minutes before we recorded this. That was enough time, however, for him, to ad lib some pretty nice riffs.
A bit o' background...Back in Austin, Brother B and I used to rock out together in an outfit called Electric Monk. So, when he rolled through town on a road trip, we figured we'd play some tunes for old time's sake. Got my cheapo webcam and my even cheaper mic out, and we made some videos. ' Course, we hadn't played any of these songs together in a while and some of 'em never, but I think they turned out pretty good all in all, and we certainly had ourselves some fun.
Anyhow, hope you like.

Brother K

Damn, only 18 "I know"s; well, to be honest you probably don't need so many anyway.
And yeah we are slackers.
