The project SGGG leaders face off against "Director Cool," the brains behind Dogma's hardware operation. I don't have a clue what they're saying or what exactly happens at the end of the video.

  • So the way to win a console war is to go to the rival's corporate building and shoot them? And I thought business was cut throat here in America!

  • Its kinda sad that even though SEGA released this game, in the end, DOGMA or SONY still crushed them, they can't even make a system anymore... Sad :(

  • @OrinokawaMizuki while it is the predecessor, Microsoft didn't do ANY developing; they used Windows CE (which sucked) for some games, however they didn't develop anything; all Sega.

  • I don´t know why, but this game remembered me Kingdom Hearts somehow....

  • @BPzeBanshee Oh that's what you meant. Alot of people who worked on Segagaga worked on TFVI, including the director, who said he loved TF in general and went through alot of troubles to get the permission to use TF music in SGGG.

  • @LordRaikon That's what I meant. This game/music came first, and then TF VI used the Dogma theme for the Faust boss theme.

As for Broken Thunder, Segagaga got the files from the first Broken Thunder album published in 2001 approximately. The game itself has its music arranged slightly differently, and I have at least one video to prove that.

  • @BPzeBanshee Segagaga has music from Broken Thunder.

Thunder Force VI came out 7 years after Segagaga.

  • Has no one noticed that the Dogma and "Director Cool" battle theme was ripped off by Thunder Force VI?

Yeah, the Bluffing Hedgehog music (theme of the Harinezumi/Hedgehog attack) is a pretty much nice remix of Marble Zone, it's more upbeat and had a bit Sonic Adventure sound to it.

The old one is a bit gloomy and fit more as a boss music than a level music.

  • LOL. Yayoi's put on back her pants in the animation video clip. Then stripped down. ;)

At the end. Basically Taro wanted to chase after Yayoi and Cool into outerspace, to reunite the Dolmexica into one again. He asked Alisa if Sega got a way to outerspace. She said there's the Opa-Opa, but the Small Wing squadron is still two hours away from him. He asked about the R-720, she refused at first but then agreed at his plea. She then send him a Sega pick-up, which confused the heck out of Taro.

Correct, the Dreamcast is both the base and the predecessor of both the XBOX and its succesor, the XBOX 360.

The Dreamcast was developed both by Sega and Microsoft.

In a kind of way, Sega exit the game console industry so Microsoft can enter.

Dreamcast is just a way to soften the the transition (technology, 3rd party developers, fans, etc).

Actually Alex Kidd don't have any hard feeling for Sonic the Hedgehog, only Alex is just a bit of depressed when he have to retire.

But nevertheless, he accepted it as the way of a game character and left the previous stage to his successor. He's pretty much okay being a shop's manager, though he kinda missed the good old days.

Basically what this game's story all about, leaving the old stage and passing the torch to your successor, then remembering the old days.
