Award winning film director Bill Maloney investigates the derelict building of St Peter's Approved School, in Gainford, Co Durham. The police claim it is a 'dark stain on the village' so why has it laid derelict for years?
Maloney and his courageous camera woman Lilly Starr gain entry to the abandoned Victorian building and are horrified to find stories of abuse written on the walls of the burnt-out gymnasium.
Young boys were regularly beaten and thrown naked into a concrete cellar for trivial misdemeanors.

OK I have watched this. Hmm I'm shocked with a lot of what you have said. You don't have a lot to back up what you say apart from the writing on the walls. There are 2 sides to every story and your story doesnt have much basis on it. You then go on a rant. Basically from what I can see this is a political rant about past / present government.

Very sensationalist to say the least. The hatch you opened? can you prove that this was used to chuck naked lads in? REALLY? HONESTLY? hand on heart?

And these issues are most definitely political. We're talking about institutional abuse, whether it be vulnerable children or vulnerable senior citizens being abused.

Wow, this is definitely a controversial video. I agree that at this point, this video is lacking evidence to prove your claims but I need to look for this evidence in your newer videos and feature if it is done already. Would love to know more specifics about your feature. Some interviews with some people would be great. We are making a short on child abuse ourselves and you could see the details at ruokfilms com. The more films on child abuse, the more awareness brought to the subject.

I live just a mile from where Bill was staying and about three miles from St.Peters. Me and some friends have checked this place out and couldn't get in but we are planning on going back. Very scary building indeed.

A few of us went down to St Peter's today to check it out, we couldn't get into the actual building because it had been re-bordered up, but the atmosphere was really eery, we did find a few holes that we looked through and see the writing on the walls, not nice at all. :/

@Stedixon This is not an attack on you, but you should find out what is being kept deliberatly from you. According to Wikileaks there are over 300 "gag" orders in place at present in Britain alone at present. How many of those do you think relate to the activities of the elite or our elected representatives? How many of those orders relate to child sexual abuse? I put it to u that many would relate to that. Begin with Ted Heath and Lord Montagu and work ur way down. And see Ted Gundersons work.

5.year holliday brilliant the teachers were briliant i think ya shauld do ya home work before ya start slagging innocent people off
