  • Hey the Adelaide scene! Man the maddest punks I ever knew. Some of you migrated up to Sydney and formed such bands as The Real Fucking Idiots! Grong Grong were Adelaide too weren't they?

  • Grong Grong rings a bell.. we toured Sydney a bit and I loved playing in the old pubs with 30 people absoulutely crammed in some back room, all trying to dance.. come to think of it.. maybe thats why pogo dancing started?

  • Yo, U-Bombs.

You rocked. We rocked. Rock on!

Cheers from Arch / Distressed Innocents

  • Do you have any Distressed Innocents on film?

  • Hi. Great video.

DO you recall an old Adelaide punk band ULSERS who released a little 7" around 1981? I'm trying to trackdown the band, and/or a copy of the record. Thanks. Cliff

  • Respect from England-54 seconds of magic, heard it for the 1st time a couple of months back..cant get it out of me head!

  • what guitar is that at 0:08?

  • also ubombs, check out Johnny Dole and the Scabs on tube, for some 77 sydney punk.

  • Oh I didn't realise this was posted by a band member! When did u play in Sydney? Whenever it was I missed u sadly. Grong were legendary, their signature song 'grong grong', was mad grunge. A grong is a coming, coming your way....! Named themselves after getting lost in the wilds of NSW and finding themselves in the town, Grong Grong. Jello Biafra was a huge fan of them!

  • The Units The Accountants Alf fronting the Spell The Dagoes The Marryatville The Bamboo Room at the Brittania The Tivoli The Aurora Underground at Lark and Tinas (hahahaha) It's all just a distant memory, but a good one. Thank god for the U-Bombs
