Thanks for posting this great great and useful video. I only have a question: Do you think it is necesary to do this each time I go to the sea? I meant, each time the trailer gets wet with salt water?

@MPHWORLD do you just grese the bearing with the fitting on the cap? after its installed

The rear of the hub should contain a pressed-in seal that holds the inside bearing, and seals around the axle so water does not intrude from the back-end of the hub. The video show the rear seals going on unprotected. Also, it did not address the bearing races, their condition, and how to replace them.

@MrYouradoosh I was thinking the same thing... I'm going to "attempt" this on my boat trailer tomorrow. I'm sure I'll break something :)
All good points. Thank you, viewers please take notice. In this case however, seals are intact, and bearings were replaced. It is advised to change the bearings and races each year, use marine bearing grease to lube them regularly, and check them every 100 miles on a trip longer than that.
