Making Dumpling / 餃子の包み方

This shows how to wrap the dumpling, which my Taiwanese roommate taught me when we went to the school in the U.S. The dumplings would not break when you boil or fry them by this wrapping.

留学時代に台湾人ルームメイトに教えてもらった包み方です。茹でたときに口が開きにくく、肉汁などのうまみをしっかり閉じこめてくれます。

That is the strangest way of wrapping a dumpling I have ever seen. But then again, I'm mostly familiar with southern Chinese ways of wrapping and may be this is a style from another part of China.
