Notes: Overrated? Yes. Liked by many? Of course. The reason for it being number 20 on my list is simply that it was my first ever RPG and first final Boss theme. I've always liked this version the best.

I´m not sure but can this be the Kingdo Hearts 2 version of this game.

That´s my favorite version too.

No no no, this is the Original Final Fantasy VII version of the song. The Kingdom Hearts II version has much less of the actual song in it.

@tomenaki well im pretty sure you can make an exeption for a movie based on a video with a song based on that same game (especially considering how much better it was XD) or at least the kh version

Ha ha, I like the original version better than any of the remade game versions. It's the build-up and just overall presentation that gets me. The Crisis Core version is nice, but this still has a place in my heart. As for either KH versions, they're kind of weak compared to this version, and I'm not including the Advent Children version because it's not a game. Game songs stay on a Game playlist, no exceptions. lol

this is such an awesome theme, too bad it was so awesome that it was SO much heard of and eventually became kinda tiresome... too bad :/

the live orchestral arrangements are THE BEST!

You forgot the part where sephiroth throws his mothers arm at his face which morphs into monster just before he flies away like super man. Leaving Cloud no time to grieve.

I tend to just skip over this whenever it comes up because it's just become so saturated, overrated, whatever... but it really is a good theme, and well worth a place. Thanks for reminding me of that.

@tomenaki i know. everytime i listen to this it makes me listen to the AC version, and when i listen to the AC version, it makes m watch the epic Cloud and Sephiroth fight.
