Iraqi War Veteran Joke - Michael Anthony

I first heard this joke when I was at a dinner with a bunch of other Iraq veteran's. Someone said the joke and we all cracked up laughing. So it may be a joke that's only funny to veterans. But, during dinner, there were several Vietnam veterans there too, and one of the Vietnam vets said that he had just used the joke last week--about the Vietnam war--and that the joke has been around for years.

So it's a timeless joke that has been around through the ages. Vets will understand the joke, because we all know that one vet who's every reply is: "You weren't there....."

hilarious joke man. I'm guessing that you're a vet? How long were you in for, you serve in Iraq or afghan, you look young. Funny joke though, I can see how it is. You come back home and no one know's whats its like. I'm guessing Army too, based on your channel page, buy could be Marines too.

@MGuitplyrR Army, 6 years. 16 month deployment, 4 in Wisconsin, 12 in Iraq. Mosul, and Al Asad. Never fought in Afghanistan, I heard it's worse than Iraq though.

I think it depends where in the area you are and what function you serve, as always.

The casualty rates are probably a good indicator.

But, if you're the one dead or maimed, statistics are irrelevant.
