Like what Wiggles mentioned, there's Bboying, Crazy Legs, and also Party style which is shown by Buddha Stretch. But I do agree that choreography to Hip Hop music in a studio is not Hip Hop. It's just steps created to Hip Hop music. But it's not what Hip Hop dance is all about!
And in actual fact, there ARE basics to Hip Hop (Party style) dance. Stuff like Running Man, Party Machine, Steve Martin, all these are Hip Hop dance basics.

@Zolsky90 If ya wanna be good you gotta practice. It doesn't matter whether you practice in a studio, on the street or in your luonge room. Doesn't matter where you cyphering, whether its in a studio, on the street or in your living room. A studio is just a location. Hip-Hop dance is about the essence you are dancing with.

@hbbvivo @hbbvivo no new jack swing was the type of music, for example wreck-n-effect were doing new jack swing or bobby brown but they often had hip hop dancers in their video's.

"take your time, pace yourself. Don't rush it and really take your time"... and then Wiggles says to breathe..so as to pace yourself when you're popping...
