Michael Connolly of Eau Claire, WI, affectionately called Sheboygan by his Litchfield, IL, friends because he was born in Sheboygan, passed away in March of 2008, from a brain tumor which he courageously fought for 8 years. This video was made with photographs from Mike's endless treasury and from his close friends and was played at his wake. A friend had suggested the song from the late Dennis Wilson, and it seemed more than fitting. We all miss Sheboygan and watching this video may give you just the slightest hint of what the world lost when he passed away. He will always be in our hearts and minds, and his photos and paintings live on with his wife Jan and daughter Sarah and son Patrick. We miss ya, Mike, God knows, we miss ya.

  • Nice. It's actually the late Dennis Wilson, from his recently re-released album "Pacific Ocean Blue."

  • It took me a while to change this, and I apologize for the error. It now reads, the late Dennis Wilson.

    Thanks for catching that.

  • This is a beautiful tribute to a beautiful person. Great job Bruce and thank you for your efforts and creativity. You touched my heart and many others. Adios Sheboygan...we will see you again!

  • The music is hauntingly sad, but the scenery is very uplifting
