Leah Shelton is an Australian actress, dancer and physical performer who works as a solo artist and as an artistic collaborator. Following tertiary level contemporary dance training, she trained in the Japanese Suzuki Actor Training Method for over 9 years and performed and toured nationally and internationally with physical theatre company Frank Theatre (www.ozfrank.com).
In 2003 Leah co-founded The Brides of Frank (www.thebridesoffrank.com), a tight dynamic ensemble of five females who create intense satirical performances incorporating sophisticated choreography with highly theatrical characterizations.
Leah is also a member of dance company Polytoxic (www.polytoxiclovesyou.com), a company constantly drawing on the founding members Polynesian backgrounds to create entertaining high paced dance-theatre inspired by the traditions of the Pacific and the kitsch of pop-culture.
