BTW, did you know that in essence, a nuclear bomb or three have already been dropped on that region? Its called depleted uranium armour piercing rounds. It is only depleted of one highly radioactive isotope of uranium, it won't make an A-bomb, but it is still radioactive. After it hits, it burns and goes airborn thus spreading where ever the wind blows, nice, huh?
