@BroomeBlocker3 The dream team isn't proof. It just so happened that there were a lot of very good individuals in that point in time. The league overall is so much more athletic now. Lebron and Kobe (in his prime) could more than hold their own physically. Dwight Howard would have easily held is own against the likes of Robinson and Hakeem. Derrick Rose would woosh past Larry like he wasn't even there.

i think that todays nba would be more athletic, like lebron and kevin durant 6,9 and fast as hell incredible vertical leap, dwight howard too.....

@2pacinseattle The 80's Lakers and Celtics were well past their peaks when Jordan conveniently started winning titles. Michael Jordan, in 5 seasons without Scottie Pippen NEVER made it out of the first round and missed the playoffs twice. His playoff record without Pippen, a disastrous 1-9. What was MJ carrying again? Btw, Magic was the better rebounder of the two and shot a better FG%, and FT%, to go with more assists. LOL @ MJ having more heart. Dude retired twice in his prime.

Yeah, Larry Bird and Magic would destroy the NBA today, people were better back then, more athletic, better defenders, just look at the dream team if ya need proof.
