@Knows32 I don't believe you are "wrong" I believe you are "lying"
Please explain why he does not show any type of shotokan technique and actually throws a kick that exists in Kyokushin and not in Shotokan. Please explain why he squares up, which is something that Mas Oyama took from his time in Thailand and is not a prevalent stance in the shuri te influenced Shotokan. Please explain why he does not keep distance and prefers a more infighting approach taught in Kyokushin and not Shoto.

@Knows32 Regardless... we can debate training styles and useful techniques and any other variable you want between the styles.
The video has no Shotokan fighter.
You're lying.
The 'fat' guy who lost is a kyokushin fighter. I'd be my life on it. He didn't show one trademark Shotokan technique. He did throw a trademark kyokushin mikazuki geri (which looks different in Shotokan). His stance was natural naha-te stance. He fought in close like a Kyokushinka. This is two Kyokushin fighters.

@Knows32 You're lying.
I'm sorry, but this is not true. I started off studying Shotokan for six years, I switched to Kyokushin for two years and now because of the lack of good dojos in my area, I mainly just box.
I used to think Shotokan was the inferior art to Kyokushin. Now I'm not so sure. While kickboxing, I find myself being able to use a lot of Shotokan techniques to fool and anger people, while the kyokushin techniques don't seem to give me an edge. Regardless....

@njl4515 Greetings from Chile, it shows you know.
De acuerdo no parece shotokan, pero te puedo asegurar que es. Es más el profesor de él, es el árbitro de la esquina superior derecha.

You know the syndrome of mirror, when a fighter is that the techniques do not help him, mimics that of his rival. But I'm interested in fighting CHIEFEC vs SHOTOKAN. Those battles I would like you mentioned.
