Spooky Tesla Spirit Radio Meets Dancing Ghost

The Spooky Tesla Spirit Radio is an un-powered crystal radio that picks up the vibes of the Dancing Ghost, which is a simple homopolar motor that rotates .

In this case, it is the world's simplest radio detecting the world's simplest electric motor!

The audio signal from the radio gets sent to the computer, where Audio Hijack Pro software alters it in real time and we hear the spooky sounds.

In Tesla's essay "The Problem of Increasing Human Energy" (1900) easily found on Google, Tesla discusses "The First Practical Telaumaton." He seems to imply (to this reader,) That a Telaumaton should posess a sense of self-recognition, that it responds to a certain "Name." Your Dancing Ghost seems the perfect Kachina for that ;) Like clouds, busted and decoded by Wilhelm Reich's Orgone, she seems to give Binah's sky juice to your Radio. Right on Maestro. (Reich's work remains in Maine, btw.)

These radios would be perfect for generating the kinds of sounds used in games like Silent Hill 2 (an all time favorite of mine). I can see these devices being very useful for music and sound effect related stuff.

I live in a forest now, but the hum from AC power predominates the signal, especially inside the computer. The gain is raised so high to make the system sensitive, that AC gets amplified too. I try to block some of it with software.

Good question about the sun!

The sun will make sound with the crystal radio...but only when the sunlight is broken to make a varying signal. Straight sunlight, or even laser, won't make a sound unless it is moved over the diode to produce an alternating signal.

you should go somewhere like a forest where there is little interference and try to see what you pick up. Also, wouldn't the sun's light make noise?
